Free or Low-Cost Birth Control
Do you need birth control, but don’t have the money
to pay for it? If you don’t have health insurance or
your insurance doesn’t cover family planning (birth
control), you’ve come to the right place!
Midwest Health Center for Women now offers FREE or very low-cost
family planning services if you meet these criteria :
 
You live in Minnesota
You do not have health insurance or
 your
insurance doesn’t cover birth control
You meet income guidelines
(generous
sliding fee, no proof of income needed)
You want to receive a birth control method
(pills, Ortho Evra
patch, NuvaRing, Depo Provera, condoms)
In order to get free or low-cost birth control at MHCW, you
need to have a yearly exam at our clinic (including pap smear).
You are then able to receive 3 to 6 months of your chosen
birth control method at a time.
Testing for sexually-transmitted infections is also available
at the time of your yearly exam.
